June Andrea Hanson

American author of children's books. She appears to have written only two books, which form a short series about a girl called Janey and the effect her love of horses has on her relationships with her family, in particular her grandfather.

SUMMARY: Janey wants to keep the son of the wild stallion, but her father and grandfather want to sell him.

Both easy to find in the USA. Harder elsewhere, though can usually be bought from America fairly cheaply.
